Danang breaks ground on Hoa Ninh Industrial Park

HCMC – The central coastal city of Danang has begun work on the Hoa Ninh Industrial Park, which will need over VND6.2 trillion to develop.

The Danang People’s Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony today, February 18, in Hoa Ninh Commune, Hoa Vang District, marking the official start of the project.

Covering 400 hectares, the industrial park will help expand the city’s industrial base. Approved by the prime minister in December 2024, the project received its investment registration certificate on February 18, 2025. Thanh Binh Phu My Corporation, the project’s investor, is expected to complete infrastructure construction within 42 months.

Le Trung Chinh, chairman of the Danang People’s Committee, described the project as a significant step in the city’s industrial growth strategy. He emphasized its role in attracting investment, promoting sustainable development, and improving local living standards.

“Investors and partners play a vital role in Danang’s development, and the city is committed to ensuring this project stays on schedule and meets high-quality standards,” Chinh said. He added that local authorities would expedite land clearance, enhance infrastructure, and streamline administrative processes to create a more transparent and business-friendly environment.

The industrial park is expected to focus on high-tech industries and environmentally friendly manufacturing. It will be part of a broader network of industrial zones, free trade areas, and logistics hubs in northwestern Danang.

Thanh Binh Phu My Corporation, which previously developed the Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, is collaborating with international business groups, including JETRO, EuroCham, and AmCham, to promote the project to foreign investors.
