HCMC – Over 800 American tourists arrived in Danang, and 500 European and American tourists arrived in Halong City this morning, marking promising prospects for the country’s tourism sector in 2025.
At 7:30 a.m. on January 29 (the first day of the lunar month), over 800 tourists arrived on the six-star Crystal Symphony cruise, docking at Tien Sa Port in Danang. The port greeted the tourists with traditional lion dance performances, and local tourism authorities handed out flowers and souvenirs.
Danang International Airport recorded a large number of tourists, with more than 20,000 passengers arriving on over 140 domestic and international flights. Among these, 10,000 passengers were international tourists arriving on over 65 flights.
In Halong Bay, 500 tourists arrived on the Silver Dawn cruise at 8:00 a.m., marking the 10th international ship to visit the city since January. Local authorities welcomed the guests and arranged tours of Halong Bay and nearby cultural and historical sites.
Quang Ninh Province is expected to attract 20 million visitors in 2025, including 4.5 million international tourists, with expected revenue of up to VND55 trillion.
