HCMC – Danang has signed cooperation agreements with three international partners to accelerate the city’s blockchain ecosystem and international financial center project.
The city inked memorandums of understanding with Bybit, Verichains, and the Abu Dhabi Blockchain Center (ADBC), according to the official portal of Danang City (danang.gov.vn).
Under the agreements, Danang will facilitate administrative procedures for the partners to invest, open offices, and participate in the city’s planned financial center. In return, Bybit, Verichains, and ADBC will provide policy advice on digital assets, blockchain technology, and international best practices.
Bybit, the world’s second-largest digital asset exchange, will support Danang in building regulatory frameworks for blockchain testing and ecosystem development. The company pledged to maintain liquidity and transparency in transactions.
Vietnam-based Verichains, a security solutions provider for both traditional and decentralized finance, will advise on technical standards and monitor cybersecurity for digital financial products in the city.
ADBC, the blockchain center in Abu Dhabi, will share governance models and connect Danang with the global digital economy network.
In recent years, Danang has organized initiatives such as Finance Week, Blockchain and AI Week, and approved pilot projects for converting tokenized assets into fiat currency.
City officials said the new partnerships mark a key step toward establishing Danang as an international financial hub, with blockchain playing a central role. The cooperation will focus on ensuring liquidity, global connectivity, and secure digital infrastructure while promoting innovation under supervised regulatory sandboxes.
