HCMC – The Ministry of Health has confirmed two new Covid-19 cases who are residents of Danang City, taking the country’s tally to 1,009 as of tonight, August 21.
The two latest patients, a 75-year-old woman and a 47-year-old man, had close contact with previously confirmed Covid-19 patients. They are being treated at Hoa Vang Field Hospital in the city.
Among the 1,009 Covid-19 cases in Vietnam, 545 patients have fully recovered from the coronavirus, including three patients declared free of Covid-19 by the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Hanoi City today, while 25 others have died of Covid-19.
