As a major foreign-invested enterprise in financial consulting and auditing operating in Vietnam, Deloitte Vietnam has been implementing numerous corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities across the S-shaped country, reflecting its strong commitment to the local community.
Donating laptops – supporting access to knowledge through digital platforms
Through the program “Connecting Technology – Sharing Knowledge,” Deloitte Vietnam has donated 120 laptops to local organizations, the Women’s Union, and primary and secondary schools in the provinces of Dien Bien, Son La, Cao Bang, and Ninh Thuan over the past six months.
This initiative aims to support students, teachers, and women in ethnic minority areas to access knowledge effectively through digital platforms. The program has created learning and technological access opportunities for over 3,500 students, teachers, and 15,000 women.
In addition, Deloitte Vietnam also partnered with the Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants (VACPA) to donate 40 computers as part of the “Old Computers – New Knowledge” initiative, launched to commemorate VACPA’s 20th anniversary. This partnership reflects Deloitte’s community spirit and its dedication to the profession and society.
These knowledge-sharing initiatives are part of WorldClass – a global initiative by Deloitte to positively impact 100 million lives by 2030. Deloitte hopes that the devices and knowledge provided by Deloitte Vietnam will help build a connected, modern, and sustainable community, contributing to the comprehensive development of Vietnam in the digital transformation era.
Scholarship program for students
The “Lighting Up Your Future” (LUYF) scholarship fund is another program under the WorldClass initiative implemented by Deloitte Vietnam.
Established in 2012, LUYF has become one of Deloitte Vietnam’s flagship CSR initiatives. The scholarship fund carries the mission of instilling belief in kindness, igniting dreams, and supporting the determination of millions of students – including those with disabilities – to overcome difficulties and achieve success.

After a decade of implementation, the fund has awarded scholarships to nearly 900 university students in Vietnam who have overcome adversity and excelled academically. It has also reached over 121,000 students nationwide, helping them develop both knowledge and essential skills, thereby contributing to building a high-quality workforce that meets market demands.
In 2025, the fund will continue awarding scholarships to second- and third-year students majoring in economics, finance, accounting, and auditing across the country. Alongside 120 scholarships, recipients will also attend workshops, training sessions, and skill development programs led by Deloitte Vietnam professionals.
One such activity is the “Audit Simulation” – an audit training model uniquely designed by Deloitte Vietnam. Nearly 100 students from 27 universities nationwide had the opportunity to experience real-world scenarios at Deloitte’s offices in Hanoi and HCMC. During four workshops in each city, students participated in simulated case-solving, explored audit processes, and received insights from industry experts.
This program not only helped students better understand the role of auditors but also equipped them with essential skills for pursuing an auditing career. Deloitte believes that with the right opportunities and guidance, the young generation of Vietnam is ready to make professional and sustainable contributions to the future.
On May 24, 2025, the workshop “Beyond the Books: Mastering Your Career Launch” – an information event for LUYF Next Gen 2025 scholarships – was held at Foreign Trade University in Hanoi, attracting nearly 200 in-person and online attendees.
Besides sharing useful information about LUYF, the workshop gave students practical insights into their career journey through skill-sharing sessions from Deloitte Vietnam experts. The knowledge gained from this event will be valuable preparation for students as they enter the job market.
Other CSR activities
Deloitte Work Readiness, another initiative under WorldClass by Deloitte Southeast Asia, aims to empower the young generation through training and useful resources to confidently plan their careers and create positive value not only for themselves but also for the community and the broader socio-economic landscape.
Meanwhile, WorldClimate is Deloitte’s global strategic initiative that promotes responsible climate-related activities, aiming to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.
Beyond internal implementation, the initiative is extended to clients, partners, and stakeholders, collectively building a sustainable future and addressing climate change.
As part of the 2024 Deloitte Impact Day and WorldClimate campaign, the Deloitte Green Race 2024 was held in October 2024 simultaneously in Hanoi and HCMC.
With distances of 3km, 5km, and 13km, the event welcomed the participation of all Deloitte Vietnam employees, alumni, and their family members. In addition to the race, the event also featured musical performances and fundraising sales. All proceeds from these activities were allocated to environmental protection and community support initiatives under WorldClimate in Vietnam.
Blood donation is a meaningful humanitarian activity, reflecting compassion and the sharing of love among people. Each drop of donated blood is a gift of hope and a lifeline for patients in critical need. Understanding this, Deloitte Vietnam has actively organized voluntary blood donation drives.
Continuing its over 10-year journey of supporting the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion with thousands of units of donated blood, in November 2024, Deloitte Vietnam partnered with VACO Auditing Company to organize the 2024 Voluntary Blood Donation Day. The event attracted 309 registrants and collected 306 units of blood at its offices in Hanoi and HCMC.
