HCMC – DucGiang Chemicals Group JSC (HOSE: DGC) has chosen December 25 as the record date to advance its 2025 cash dividend, with shareholders set to receive a 30% dividend, equivalent to VND3,000 per share.
With nearly 380 million shares outstanding, the company is expected to spend around VND1.14 trillion on the dividend payment, funded by its undistributed profits. The ex-dividend date is December 24, while payments are scheduled to begin on January 15, 2026.
In the first nine months of this year, DucGiang Chemicals reported VND8.53 trillion in revenue, up 14.4% year-on-year, and VND2.53 trillion in after-tax profit, a 9% rise. The company has thus achieved 82% of its full-year revenue target of VND10.39 trillion and 84.4% of its profit goal of VND3 trillion.
Closing the trading session today, December 9, DGC shares added 0.96% to close at VND94,900 each, with more than 1.92 million shares traded, bringing its market capitalization to approximately VND36.04 trillion.
The VN-Index lost 6.57 points, or 0.37%, to end at 1,747.17 points, with 93 advancers and 234 decliners on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange. Market liquidity improved sharply, with over 973.8 million shares worth VND29.49 trillion changing hands, up 31% in volume and 37% in value against the previous session. Block deals contributed more than 78 million shares valued at VND3.63 trillion.
VIC remained the key pillar of the market as it added 4.8% to close at VND160,000. Other bluechips such as VCB, SAB, DGC and FPT edged up slightly. However, most VN30 stocks fell, with LPB dropping 5% to VND44,000. HDB lost 3.8% to VND31,500, VPB shed 3.2% to VND28,750, and VJC declined 3.1% to VND200,000.
Among mid-cap and small-cap stocks, SVC, TTF, and VCI hit their upper limits. LCG rose 5.6% to VND11,200, while LDG climbed over 4% to VND4,650.
On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index fell 1.54 points, or 0.60%, to 257.14 points, with 44 gainers and 113 losers. Trading volume reached 77.5 million shares worth VND1.60 trillion, while negotiated trades contributed 7.18 million shares valued at VND115.7 billion.
