DGW to restructure as holding company

HCMC – Digiworld Corporation (HOSE: DGW) will restructure into a holding company, shifting to a parent-subsidiary model to streamline governance and improve operational efficiency, according to documents for its 2026 annual general meeting.

Under the plan, the parent company will manage capital, investments, and strategic direction, while subsidiaries will handle specific assets, projects, and business operations. The restructure aims to optimize resource allocation and enhance specialization across Digiworld’s business units.

The company also outlined its 2026 targets: VND 31.5 trillion in revenue, an 18% increase from 2025, and net profit of VND 660 billion, up 20% year-on-year. Strategic focus will remain on digital infrastructure solutions, technology devices, and data centers to meet growing enterprise demand for digital transformation.

Digiworld’s 2026 annual general meeting is schedulded for April 22 in HCMC.

Closing the trading session today, March 25, DGW increased 3.07% to VND43,600, with a trading volume of over two million shares.

The VN-Index rose 43.42 points, or 2.69%, to close at 1,658.19 on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE) on Wednesday, with total trading volume exceeding 892.2 million shares worth VND22.6 trillion. Block deals accounted for over 95.3 million shares, valued at VND2 trillion.

Vingroup’s VHM and VIC contributed more than 12 points to the VN-Index. VHM closed up 5.3% at VND 104,200, while VIC gained 3.8% to VND 128,700. Related stocks VPL and VRE both rose above 4%.

Other major gainers included GVR, which climbed 6.3% to VND30,500, the largest increase among VN30 stocks. VPB, DGC, and MWG rose more than 4%, while ACB, TCB, VIB, SSI, PLX, and SHB gained between 3% and 4%. SHB took the lead by liquidity, with over 76.5 million shares traded.

On the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), the HNX-Index rebounded in the afternoon and closed at 249.67 points, up 5.86 points or 2.40%. Total trading volume surpassed 110.8 million shares worth nearly VND1.8 trillion, with 118 stocks advancing and 34 others declining.
