DHG Pharmaceutical to pay 75% cash dividend

HCMC – DHG Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, listed on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange with ticker DHG, has revealed its intention to distribute a cash dividend for 2023 in two installments with a combined 75%.

For the first installment, DHG Pharmaceutical will pay a cash dividend of 40%, equivalent to VND4,000 per share. The payment is slated for June 26 this year and the last registration date is June 12.

On August 21 this year, the company will continue to distribute the second installment of dividend at 35%, or VND3,500 per share. The last registration date is August 9.

With around 131 million outstanding shares, DHG is expected to allocate nearly VND980.6 billion for the two dividend payment rounds. This marks DHG’s highest dividend payment ratio to date.

On the stock market, DHG has shown continuous growth so far, ending today’s trading session with a rise of over 3% at VND123,500. This also marks the highest price since the start of the year.

The VN-Index of the Hochiminh Stock Exchange today, May 30, lost 6.32 points, or 0.5%, against yesterday’s session, closing at 1,266.32 points, with 156 winners and 277 losers.

The total trading volume reached over 1.05 million shares worth nearly VND25.9 trillion, slightly decreasing in volume but slightly increasing in value compared to yesterday’s session. Block deal transactions contributed more than 92 million shares, valued at a total of VND2.1 trillion.

Among blue-chip stocks, MBB, VRE and VIC recorded a decline of over 2%, while others like VHM, HPG, VCB, GAS and STB saw a decrease ranging from 1% to 1.9%.

MBB, HPG and SHB stocks took the lead by liquidity in the VN30 basket and the southern exchange, with trading volumes ranging from 25.8 million to 28 million shares.

On the northern market, the HNX-Index inched down 0.14 point, or 0.06%, against the day earlier at 244.01 points, with 78 advancers and 87 decliners. There were more than 136.8 million shares worth VND2.59 trillion changing hands on bourse.
