HCMC – Domestic fuel prices saw little change from the previous price review on June 1, according to an announcement jointly issued by the ministries of Industry-Trade and Finance at 3 p.m. today.
RON 95-III gasoline now sells for VND22,010 per liter, and E5 RON 92 bio-gasoline is priced at VND20,870, the same as in the previous fuel price adjustment.
The price of diesel oil moves sideways at VND18,020 per liter, up by VND80, and kerosene sells for VND17,820 per liter, up by VND50.
Meanwhile, heavy fuel oil decreased by VND170 to VND14,710 per liter.
During this fuel price adjustment, the ministries imposed surcharges on gasoline at VND180-VND228 per liter and on oil products of all types at VND200 per liter to replenish the national fuel price stabilization fund.
Local fuel retailers are not allowed to tap the fund.
Since the beginning of the year, local fuel prices have been put under review 17 times, with nine increases, six decreases, and two times of no change.
As of the end of the first quarter this year, the national fuel price stabilization fund had a surplus of VND5,640 billion, the highest level since the first quarter of 2021, according to the Ministry of Finance.
