Earlier, on December 9, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed official dispatch No. 129/CD-TTg, requiring ministries, sectors, and localities to strengthen the management and use of electronic invoices, and improve the effectiveness of tax collection in e-commerce.

The Ministry of Finance was tasked with enhancing the inspection of electronic invoice issuance at gas stations, with a particular focus on stations using electronic devices to issue invoices, and strictly handling cases where gas stations fail to issue or intentionally avoid issuing electronic invoices.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade is responsible for closely monitoring the compliance of petroleum businesses with electronic invoice regulations and strictly handling violations.
