Domestic fuel prices rise

HCMC – The retail prices of gasoline today, June 1, increased by VND390-520 per liter, according to an announcement jointly issued by the ministries of Industry and Trade and Finance.

RON 95-III gasoline now sells for VND22,010 per liter, up by VND520, whereas the price of E5 RON92 bio-gasoline is VND20,870 per liter, increasing by VND390.

Prices of diesel oil and kerosene are slightly down by VND10 and VND190 per liter, at VND17,940 and VND17,700, respectively.

Heavy fuel oil is priced at VND14,800 per kilogram, falling by VND270.

In this fuel price review, the two ministries decided to replenish the national fuel price stabilization fund with a surcharge of VND300 for each liter of fuel sold.

Local fuel retailers are not allowed to tap the fund.
