HCMC – The ministries of Industry-Trade and Finance revised up domestic prices of fuels by over VND650 per liter at 3 p.m. today, February 15, the end of the week-long Lunar New Year holiday.
RON 95-III gasoline, the most popular gasoline in Vietnam, now sells for VND23,910 per liter, up by VND650, and E5 RON 92 bio-gasoline VND22,830 per liter, increasing by VND710.
Other fuel types also edged up. Diesel oil sells for VND21,360 per liter, rising by VND660, while kerosene is priced at VND21,220 per liter, up by VND640.
The heavy fuel oil price is up by VND310 to VND15,900 per kilogram.
Following the adjustment, current domestic gasoline prices are now on par with the level seen in November 2023.
There are no surcharges imposed on fuels during this price adjustment to replenish the fuel price stabilization fund, and local fuel traders are not allowed to tap the fund.
