HCMC – The Dong Dang-Tra Linh Expressway, which connects the two northern provinces of Lang Son and Cao Bang, is expected to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of this year.
According to the project developer, contractors are currently working at over 200 construction sites with more than 1,400 machines and pieces of equipment, and over 3,200 workers.
As of now, cumulative progress has reached over 30% of the contract value.
Local authorities have handed over more than 784 hectares of land for the project, equivalent to over 98% of the area required under the technical design. The provinces of Cao Bang and Lang Son have committed to completing the land handover within this June.
Ho Minh Hoang, chairman of Deo Ca Group, said that under the signed contract, the project was scheduled for completion in December 2026. However, following the Prime Minister’s directive to complete the expressway route from Cao Bang to Ca Mau by 2025, the investor has revised the plan and accelerated the timeline by nearly 10 months.
Regarding construction quality management, Deo Ca Group will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring quality throughout the expressway’s 22-year operational period.
