Several Vietnamese businesses have expressed interest in the development of a high-speed railway that connects the north and the south of the nation. To realize this colossal project, they will face significant challenges in human resources, technology, and finance, but if they don’t take the first step, there would be no progress, said Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Hong Thai, vice chairman of the Railway Economy and Transport Association, in an interview with The Saigon Times.
