HCMC – A fire engulfed a flower store on Hang Luoc Street in Hanoi Old Quarter early in the morning of January 15, killing four family members.
The sole survivor of this incident was the homeowner’s daughter, who managed to escape through a fourth-floor balcony.
The blaze erupted inside the four-story residence, which was also a flower shop. Upon receiving urgent notifications, firefighting units from Hoan Kiem and Ba Dinh districts were swiftly mobilized to combat the inferno.
Authorities promptly retrieved the bodies of the four victims and transferred them to medical facilities.
As investigations into the cause and extent of the tragedy are underway, the police have cordoned off the fire-ravaged area.
