HCMC – A fire erupted at a warehouse covering some 8,000 square meters in Di An City in Binh Duong Province today, July 26, creating a giant column of black smoke.
The blaze was found at a firm on Le Hong Phong Street in Tan Binh Ward at 6:00 a.m. on the day, quickly engulfing its warehouse, which stored bags, paper and nylon, and burning 2,000 square meters of its total area, the local media reported.
After being informed of the fire, numerous fire trucks and dozens of firefighters were dispatched to the scene and the fire was brought under control at 9:00 a.m.
All assets inside the warehouse were destroyed, while its roof collapsed. No fatalities were reported in the fire. The police are determining the cause of the blaze.
