HCMC – A delegation of around 50 business executives, led by the Minister-President of Flanders and the First Vice President of the Belgian Senate, will participate in the Vietnam International Sourcing 2023 event in HCMC this September to look for business partners.
According to the Vietnam Trade Office in Belgium and the EU, some businesses in the delegation are interested in connecting with Vietnamese businesses in the confectionery and chocolate manufacturing industry, as well as those supplying fruits, thermal insulation films, and outdoor products.
Vietnam International Sourcing 2023, scheduled for September 15 to 19, is expected to attract 8,000 visitors, 150 international delegations from 30 countries and territories, as well as numerous prominent corporations like Aeon and Uniqlo from Japan; Walmart, Amazon, Boeing and AES from the U.S.; Carrefour and Decathlon from France; and Central Group from Thailand.
The event will also feature various conferences, workshops, networking activities, and the Vietnam International Sourcing Expo 2023, covering 8,000 square meters.
The primary aim of the event is to provide a conducive environment for businesses to engage in global production and supply chains, thereby facilitating economic integration and promoting connections between distribution channels, foreign importers, and domestic manufacturing and exporting enterprises.
