HCMC – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and four ministers will participate in question-and-answer sessions on November 10 and 11 and on the morning of November 12 at the ongoing NA’s second sitting.
NA General Secretary Bui Van Cuong on October 26 said after the NA’s Standing Committee approved a list of five issues to be raised, NA deputies would vote to choose four, corresponding with the fields of the four ministers.
After the four ministers answer the NA deputies’ questions, the prime minister will deliver a socio-economic report and answer questions from NA deputies.
Nguyen Thi Kim Thuy, deputy head of the NA’s Committee for Social Affairs, said NA deputies should choose issues relating to the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic and the economic recovery, such as labor, invalids and social affairs; healthcare; education and training; industry and trade; planning and investment; and transport.
She advised paying particular attention to the coordination between ministries and agencies to prevent supply chain disruptions and deal with difficulties faced by residents and enterprises.
The Q&A sessions will provide an opportunity for the minister of health to provide information on the Covid fight.
