HCMC – Five wind power plants with a combined capacity of over 176 MW began commercial operations between October 1 and 15, according to the Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN).
These five facilities comprise the 24 MW Phuong Mai 1 plant, the 46.2 MW Huong Tan plant, the 46.2 MW Tan Linh plant, the 25.2 MW Nhon Hoa 1 plant, and the Nhon Hoa 2 plant with a capacity of 29 MW, reported VietnamPlus.
Overall, among the 106 wind power plants with a combined capacity of more than 5,600 MW that registered with EVN to start pilot operations by October 15, 11 plants with a combined capacity of 443 MW were put into commercial operation.
EVN said that it will continue to update and announce its progress to recognize the commercial operation date of wind power plant projects before the end of this month.
