HCMC – FPT Corporation has signed a multi-year master supply agreement with Airbus, officially becoming a global strategic IT partner of the European aerospace company.
The agreement was signed during the Vietnam–France Business Forum in Paris on June 11, under the witness of Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
Under the deal, FPT will participate in Airbus’ global IT projects, including customer service, big data, and cloud software engineering.
The partnership builds on more than a decade of cooperation. In 2017, FPT supported Airbus in launching the Skywise data platform in the Asia-Pacific region. In 2023, Airbus selected FPT as one of its key strategic IT vendors following a supplier review.
FPT Software Chairwoman Chu Thi Thanh Ha said the company aims to continue supporting the digital transformation of the aviation sector, while Airbus Executive Vice President International Wouter Van Wersch said the deal reflects Airbus’ confidence in FPT’s technical expertise.
FPT has partnerships with over 100 airlines, airports, cargo operators, and aircraft manufacturers worldwide. It also works with the European Union Aviation Safety Agency on emerging aviation technologies.
In France, FPT acquired IT consultancy AOSIS in 2023 and launched a Francophone association to develop local talent. The company also participated in the Choose France Summit and the Vietnam–France Leaders Forum.
