HCMC – Fuel prices dropped from 3:30 p.m. today, April 8, with gasoline down by VND440–691 per liter and other fuels down by VND322–1,947 per liter or kilogram, according to the ministries of Industry-Trade and Finance.
E5 RON92 is priced at VND24,740 per liter, down by VND690. It remains VND1,800 cheaper than RON95-III, which now sells for VND26,540 per liter, a decrease of VND440.
Diesel oil is capped at VND42,840 per liter, falling by VND1,950, while heavy fuel oil edged down by VND320 to VND24,270 per kilogram.
This time around, local fuel traders are not permitted to tap the fuel price stabilization fund.
