Fuel prices drop after six hikes

HCMC – Domestic fuel retail prices were revised down from 3:00 p.m. today, August 22, following six consecutive hikes, according to an announcement jointly issued by the ministries of Industry-Trade and Finance.

E5 RON92 bio-fuel fell by VND460 to VND20,420 per liter while RON95-III gasoline dropped by VND540 to VND21,310 per liter.

Kerosene and diesel oil are now priced at VND19,140 and VND18,770 per liter, down VND430 and VND460, respectively. Heavy fuel oil edged down by VND490 to VND15,750 per kilogram.

During this fuel price adjustment, the two ministries continued to impose no surcharge on all types of fuel.
