HCMC – Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh has approved an allocation of VND800 billion from the 2024 national budget reserve to the Ministry of Transport for reconstructing the collapsed Phong Chau Bridge in Phu Tho Province.
The Ministry of Transport has been instructed to distribute and manage the funding in compliance with the State Budget Law and other relevant regulations.
The project is required to be completed by December 31, 2025. The Ministry of Transport will oversee disbursement and ensure the project is on schedule, with the minister directly accountable for its outcome.
The Ministry of Planning and Investment and the Ministry of Finance are tasked with monitoring and guiding the Ministry of Transport in funding management and reporting. These ministries will ensure adherence to timelines and provide necessary assistance for proper disbursement.
All allocated funds must be utilized by December 31, 2025. Any unused budget from the 2024 central government reserve will be canceled thereafter.
