HCMC – Domestic fuel retail price for RON95 gasoline was revised up while the prices of diesel oil and kerosene were lowered at 3.00 p.m. today, August 27.
The ceiling price of RON95 petrol is now VND15,114 per liter, up VND190 per liter, while the price of bio-fuel gasoline E5 RON92 is kept unchanged at VND14,409 per liter, according to the ministries of Industry and Trade and Finance.
Kerosene and diesel oil dropped by VND240 and VND82 per liter at VND10,125 and VND11,961 per liter, respectively. Meanwhile, the heavy fuel oil remains unchanged at VND11,183 per kilogram, the local media reported
Apart from the adjustment of fuel prices, the ministries allowed fuel traders to extract VND100 and VND200 for each liter of RON95 petrol and kerosene sold, respectively, to replenish the price stabilization fund.
Also, retailers can get VND1,295 from the fund for each liter of bio-fuel E5 RON92 sold, up VND363, and VND670 for each liter of RON95 sold.
Kerosene is not entitled to this fund, while traders can take VND453 from the fund for each kilogram of heavy fuel oil sold.
