HCMC – The Gia Lai government has revoked its approval in principle for FLC’s four projects in the Central Highlands province.
Among them are the FLC Pleiku tower, hotel, commercial center, service and apartment complex, a land project on Nguyen Chi Thanh Street in Pleiku City, the Central Highlands tourism and culture area, and the Bien Ho-Chu Dang Ya tourist area.
In 2018 and 2019, the provincial government gave the nod to FLC, allowing it do research, survey and map out detailed plans to implement these projects.
Also, Gia Lai Province decided to stop FLC’s Dak Doa golf course project after the firm acclimatized pine trees, but caused to the death of a century-old pine tree, the local media reported.
The revocation was made after the Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission found several shortcomings and violations in land, investment, planning, bidding, construction and forest protection regulations in Gia Lai Province.
