HCMC – The Vietnam-Nha Trang Golf Festival 2024 officially began on November 27, marking the 100-year history of golf in Vietnam and its contributions to the nation’s tourism industry.
The event in Khanh Hoa Province’s Nha Trang City, organized by Sai Gon Giai Phong newspaper in collaboration with the Khanh Hoa Department of Culture and Sports and Star Global Entertainment Company, highlights Vietnam’s growing reputation in the global golfing community.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dinh Van Thieu, vice chairman of the Khanh Hoa People’s Committee, said the event not only elevates golf in Vietnam on the international stage but also solidifies Nha Trang as a premier event and festival destination in Asia.
The three-day festival features tournaments at Vinpearl Golf Course and KN Golf Links Cam Ranh, alongside an array of engaging activities for both golfers and visitors.
Attendees can explore the “Vietnam Golf Journey” exhibition, try their hand at trial golf sessions, or practice with 3D golf simulators guided by professional coaches. The festival also includes booths showcasing golf fashion, health products, and culinary offerings.
