HCMC – Google Vietnam Co., Ltd. will commence operations in April 2025, taking over key responsibilities such as managing contracts, issuing service invoices, and calculating value-added tax (VAT) for its customers in Vietnam.
Starting April 1, 2025, Google Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., based in Singapore, will transfer its contractual rights and obligations with Vietnamese advertising partners to Google Vietnam Co., Ltd., headquartered in HCMC.
Google Vietnam will directly handle activities related to Google Ads and other Google products in the country. It will issue invoices to customers in the Vietnam dong currency, including a 10% VAT as required by Vietnamese regulations.
To ensure valid invoicing, Google has requested its partners and customers to provide accurate tax identification numbers, names, and addresses matching their tax registrations.
From March 1, 2025, Google Vietnam will officially oversee its listed partners and customers in Vietnam. The transition will be seamless and will not disrupt services.
Google Vietnam Co., Ltd. was established on May 31, 2023. Its tax identification number had been updated as of December 3 and its primary business activities include advertising, wholesale trade, management consulting, market research, and public opinion polling.
