HCMC – Traffic congestion hit the HCMC–Long Thanh–Dau Giay Expressway early on February 11, with vehicles moving slowly in the northbound direction from around 5 a.m., reported local media.

Long lines of cars were reported at multiple sections of the expressway as traffic inched forward.

In Dong Nai Province, congestion occurred on two stretches. One extended from the interchange with National Highway 51 to the section passing the Long Thanh International Airport project. The other formed from the area in front of the rest area to the toll station at the entrance to the Phan Thiet–Dau Giay Expressway.

The HCMC–Long Thanh–Dau Giay Expressway is 54.72 kilometers long. It has two rest areas combined with fuel stations on both sides of the road in Xuan Que Commune, Dong Nai Province, about one kilometer from the interchange with the Phan Thiet–Dau Giay Expressway.
