HCMC – Green Transition: Hub (GT: Hub) celebrated its first anniversary in HCMC on October 17 with the event “One-Year GT: Hubiversary – The Wake of ONE,” reaffirming its role as a one-stop ecosystem offering tailored ESG solutions for businesses across Vietnam.
Founded under the spirit of UN SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals, GT: Hub was created to bridge fragmented sustainability efforts by connecting strategic partners, technical experts, and service providers. The hub has grown from eight founding partners to 33 members from Vietnam and abroad within just one year.
During the event, Nguyen Cong Minh Bao, co-founder of Green Transition Consulting & Training, introduced the “five-stage green transition” framework, outlining a journey that businesses often take — from building awareness and ensuring compliance to enhancing reputation, gaining a competitive edge, and creating long-term social and environmental impact.
Bao emphasized that no company can master all areas of sustainability alone. “Through partnerships, we can offer solutions that meet businesses wherever they are on their sustainability journey.”
Panelists from Vinergy, Planetzero.earth, CRIF, VGBA (Vilandco), and Choice shared how collaboration within GT: Hub allows them to leverage one another’s expertise to deliver integrated solutions, such as sustainable event management and joint ESG data, certification, and reporting services.
The event also featured a curated ESG Business Matchmaking session to connect companies directly with solutions providers. Organized under ISO 20121 Sustainable Event Standards, the celebration was sponsored by Gala Royale, UOB Vietnam, and Pernod Ricard, highlighting the collective commitment to accelerating Vietnam’s path toward a net-zero future.
