HCMC – The HCMC-Con Dao high-speed ferry service has announced ticket prices ranging from VND720,000 to over VND1.3 million per trip, depending on seat type and departure time.
The highest fare is VND1.37 million per trip for VIP sleeper seats on weekends, while the lowest fare, at VND720,000 per trip, is available for people with disabilities from Mondays to Thursdays.
The standard sleeper seat fare is VND1.15 million per trip on weekdays and VND1.26 million on weekends. Regular seating tickets cost VND990,000 on weekdays and VND1.09 million on weekends. Discounts are available for the elderly and people with disabilities.
The ferry travels at 25-27 knots, carrying up to 374 passengers with a journey time of approximately five and a half hours.
It features 272 standard sleeper seats, 8 VIP sleeper seats, and 94 regular seats, along with a cargo capacity of 15 tons. The vessel is equipped with modern interiors and air conditioning throughout.
The HCMC Department of Transport previously approved Thanh Thanh Phat Passenger Transport Company to operate the Ho Chi Minh City–Con Dao ferry service using the high-speed Phu Quy Express, with a maximum frequency of one trip per day.
The ferry service is set to launch on March 29. Starting April 2025, departures from Saigon Port in District 4 to Con Dao will be at 7 a.m., with return trips from Con Dao departing at 11:30 a.m. The service will operate three round trips per week.
