HCMC fields 64 candidates for National Assembly elections

HCMC – HCMC has 64 candidates for 38 seats in the 16th National Assembly across 13 electoral units, according to a resolution issued by the National Election Council.

Resolution No. 151/NQ-HDBCQG published the official list of candidates nationwide. A total of 864 candidates will run in 182 electoral units to fill 500 seats in the National Assembly’s next term.

In HCMC, most electoral units will elect three deputies from five candidates.

Electoral Unit No. 5, which includes Con Dao Special Zone, Tam Long Ward and the communes of Ngai Giao, Xuan Son, Binh Gia, Ho Tram, Kim Long, Nghia Thanh, Xuyen Moc, Bau Lam, Hoa Hoi, Hoa Hiep, Binh Chau, Long Dien, Long Hai, Dat Do, and Phuoc Hai, will elect two deputies from four candidates.
