HCMC – HCMC’s Industry Development Forum on September 23 announced 10 proposals chosen as the most feasible and relevant for the city’s growth and international integration.
The forum, held under the theme “Ideas – Action – International Integration”, was organized by the HCMC Department of Industry and Trade in partnership with Tuoi Tre newspaper and UEH.ISB Talent School.
More than 150 proposals were submitted by experts, businesses, researchers, and organizations over a two-month period. From these, 10 were picked as the top contributions, while 31 others were chosen as notable and will be forwarded to city leaders for review.
Tran Du Lich, chairman of the Advisory Council for the Implementation of the National Assembly’s Resolution 98 on special mechanisms and policies to develop HCMC, said the submissions showed strong community engagement in HCMC’s development and created challenges for the selection process.
Nguyen Manh Cuong, vice chairman of the HCMC People’s Committee, said the city values all contributions, particularly those addressing bottlenecks, expanding growth opportunities, and improving global competitiveness. He added that the Department of Industry and Trade will work with Tuoi Tre and other agencies to consolidate and propose specific actions based on the recommendations.
