HCMC – The newly extended Ten Lua Street in Binh Tan District, HCMC was opened to traffic today, September 4, creating a direct connection to Provincial Road 10 and alleviating traffic congestion in the area.
The 300-meter extension features a 40-meter wide road with six lanes, connecting Kinh Duong Vuong Street and Provincial Road 10. The project was completed two months ahead of schedule.
Before the extension, traffic in the area was frequently congested due to the narrow Provincial Road 10 and the lack of a direct route between the two major roads.
The new road allows residents to directly access Provincial Road 10 to get to District 6, eliminating the need for the previous detour, according to local reports.
With an investment of about VND400 billion, the project is anticipated to reduce traffic congestion during peak hours and improve drainage in the surrounding areas.
