HCMC – The HCMC Department of Construction has publicized 22 administrative procedures in the construction field on the national public service portal as part of its digital transformation initiative.
Among the total, 17 services, including one related to construction materials, 14 in construction activities, and two in specialized construction testing services, can be performed fully online.
Meanwhile, five partially online public services are offered in four sectors including technical infrastructure, real estate business, specialized construction testing services, and housing and office building.
According to a representative of the HCMC Department of Construction, the initiative aims to ease the burden on officers in handling files, reduce processing time, and facilitate transactions made by residents and businesses.
Besides, the launch of these services online is expected to save money and time for residents and ensure the transparency of administrative procedures.
According to the HCMC Department of Construction, in the first nine months of the year, the department received 13,276 files submitted online, and 12,467 of them have been settled.
