HCMC – HCMC will organize a fireworks show from 9 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on April 30 to celebrate Reunification Day (30 April) and International Labor Day (1 May).
The fireworks display will take place near the Saigon River tunnel in Thu Duc City and the Dam Sen Park in District 11.
Besides the fireworks show, the southern city will hold photo exhibitions at the President Ho Chi Minh Statue park, on Dong Khoi Street and at the HCMC Labor Cultural Palace, in addition to a marathon and a street art lighting event.
Last year, HCMC canceled fireworks displays on the occasion of Reunification Day, the New Year and the Lunar New Year due to the fourth wave of Covid-19 infections.
