HCMC – HCMC will hold fireworks displays in An Khanh, Binh Duong, and Vung Tau wards, as well as at Dam Sen Cultural Park, to celebrate the country’s National Day.

Vo Ho Hoang Vu, chief of office at the HCMC Department of Culture and Sports, said that under the plan to celebrate the 80th National Day (September 2, 1945-September 2, 2025), the city will stage fireworks shows at four locations.

High-altitude fireworks will be set off at three sites: the entrance of the Saigon River Tunnel in An Khanh Ward, the new downtown area in Binh Duong Ward, and the central square at Bai Sau in Vung Tau Ward.

The low-altitude fireworks display will take place at Dam Sen Cultural Park in Binh Thoi Ward.

Exhibitions are taking place from August 19 to September 5 on Nguyen Hue Boulevard (from Ngo Duc Ke to Ton Duc Thang), on Dong Khoi Street (in front of the HCMC Department of Culture and Sports, opposite Chi Lang Park), in Saigon Ward, and at 1 Ba Cu Street in Vung Tau Ward.

Ahead of the fireworks displays, special art performances will also be staged at 7:30 p.m. at three venues: Nguyen Hue Boulevard in Saigon Ward, the outdoor stage at the central park in the new downtown area in Binh Duong Ward, and Thuy Van Square in Vung Tau Ward.
