HCMC – The HCMC People’s Committee has approved the plan to organize hot air balloon performances in Thu Duc City to celebrate the National Day of Vietnam.
The hot air balloon performances will be held from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on September 2 and 3 on Nguyen Thien Thanh Street, Thu Thiem Ward, HCMC.
Notably, the release of sky lanterns will also be organized from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. each day. Depending on the weather conditions, the timing of the activities may be adjusted.
The HCMC People’s Committee has assigned the Department of Culture and Sports to take full responsibility for implementing the hot air balloon performances.
The city will also present a fireworks show from 9 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on September 2 at two locations, including the Saigon River tunnel area in Thu Duc City and Dam Sen Park in District 11.
