HCMC – The Ministry of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the HCMC People’s Committee, will organize the “Vietnam International Sourcing & HCMC Export Forum 2025” from September 4 to 6 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC).

The event will coincide with the HCMC International Travel Expo 2025 (ITE 2025), aiming to foster trade and tourism connections between Vietnam and the global market.

It is expected to welcome more than 300 international sourcing delegations from 60 countries and territories. These delegations will explore over 12,000 products across four main categories, showcased at 500 booths by more than 400 Vietnamese enterprises.

The event will showcase various items, including agricultural products, beverages, processed foods, and consumer industrial goods such as textiles, footwear, furniture, interior décor, packaging, as well as supporting industries and personal electronic devices.

Nguyen Thao Hien, deputy director of the Department of Foreign Trade under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, said the event has been held annually since 2023. Over the past two years, it has helped connect more than 600 Vietnamese companies with international buyers through over 4,000 contract discussions.

She emphasized that the 2025 edition will focus on attracting buyers not only from traditional markets like the U.S. and EU but also from emerging and high-potential regions such as the Middle East, Latin America, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and South Asia.

“This geographical diversity creates opportunities for Vietnamese businesses to access new markets, especially at a time when our 17 free trade agreements (FTAs) are beginning to generate significant benefits,” she said at a press conference on April 11.
