HCMC – The HCMC Department of Construction will launch a periodic inspection into two dozen under-construction real estate projects in the city to review the compliance with construction safety standards.
The department will check the safety and quality of 24 projects, which are under construction, with 10 real estate projects and the remaining 14 projects comprising building water drainage systems and repairing schools.
The real estate projects subject to the inspection include the commercial-service and residential complex on Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street in District 1, the Cecico apartment and office building project in Thu Duc District, the Centre Mall supermarket and commercial center project in District 6 and the Saigon East Commercial Center project in District 9, among others.
The Vinh Hoi Apartment Building in District 4, the Riverside Apartment Block in Binh Thanh District, the high-rise Akari Hoang Nam Apartment Block in Binh Tan District and Tilia Residences in District 2, which are underway, will also be subject to the periodic inspection.
The inspection will be carried out from this month until November, the department said.
