HCMC – HCMC will expand Ton That Thuyet Street in District 4 and construct a green park along Te Canal as part of a development plan running through 2030.
The street is 3.3 kilometers long, spanning between Tan Thuan Bridge and Nguyen Kieu Islet, and requires an estimated VND4,500 billion, with site clearance accounting for VND3,372 billion.
Once completed, the width of Ton That Thuyet Street will rise to 25 meters.
Compensation and site clearance are expected to begin from May to December of next year, with construction set to follow immediately, lasting until March 2027.
The expansion of Ton That Thuyet Street and the creation of a green park along Te Canal are part of 88 priority projects listed by the HCMC Department of Transport to be implemented prior to 2030.
