From recreating the bustling atmosphere of the ancient Hoi An trading port with giant lantern models to a stunning drone show featuring dragon and phoenix lanterns accompanied by fireworks, the Festival of Light & Heritage has turned the night sky into a captivating display of light.
Modern drone technology combined with traditional lantern displays created a stunning aerial show.
The graceful movements of the dragon and phoenix across the sky offered a powerful visual experience and conveyed meaningful New Year messages of prosperity, wealth, and success.
Meanwhile, on the ground, a cluster of large lanterns under the theme “The Shuinsen Ship – A Heritage Painting” took center stage. The imagery of the Shuinsen ship, also known as Japan’s traditional red seal ship, along with international traders and stories of cultural exchange, was brought to life through light art, creating a vivid historical scene at the heart of the festival.
Kicked off last week at Hoi An Memories Island in Hoi An Ward, Danang City, the festival offers a diverse array of activities through April 30.
