HCMC – Hoi An City in the central coastal province of Quang Nam has been ranked second among the world’s 25 most popular destinations by TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best Destinations Awards.
This prestigious award is given to destinations that received the highest appreciation from the travel community in 2023.
TripAdvisor recognized the ancient town of Hoi An as one of the most ideal destinations, awarding it the prestigious Best of the Best distinction.
This recognition is TripAdvisor’s highest honor and is granted to less than 1% of the eight million listings of accommodations, destinations, beaches, and restaurants featured on the travel site.
Hoi An is celebrated for its historical significance as a bustling trading port in Southeast Asia. The city has succeeded in preserving its traditional cultural values and beauty to this day, according to TripAdvisor.
Hoi An’s appeal is enhanced by its historical sites and cultural events, including the Cau Pagoda, the Lantern Festival held on the 14th night of every lunar month along the Hoai River, and various other cultural heritage sites.
