THUA THIEN-HUE – The “Rural market on festive days – Thanh Toan tile-roofed bridge” is a traditional program that takes place annually in Thuy Thanh Commune, Huong Thuy District, in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue.
The Thanh Toan tile-roofed bridge, which is nearly 250 years old, is the highlight of the area, thanks to its unique architecture. It is located some eight kilometers from downtown Hue City.
This year, the program was held from February 21 to 25, offering various interesting activities such as the ao dai show, a revival of the rural market and boat racing.
During the rural market days, visitors can meet people from all walks of life and understand handicrafts such as conical hat-making, baking and brewing.
