HCMC – The Reunification Hall in HCMC, also known as Independence Palace, attracts over one million visitors each year, Tran Huu Phuoc, acting director of the Reunification Hall, said at a tourism forum on October 19.
One of the key draws is the exhibition “From Norodom Palace to Independence Palace 1868–1966”, which has seen around 350,000 visitors annually since it opened in March 2018, Phuoc said.
To enhance visitor experience, the Reunification Hall plans to digitize its exhibits and incorporate modern technology, aiming to engage a younger audience with new ways to explore the site’s rich history.
The forum also highlighted the success of Hanoi’s Temple of Confucius night tour, which utilizes 3D mapping technology to create an immersive experience for visitors.
During the event, the Reunification Hall and the Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities at the Temple of Confucius signed a memorandum of understanding, committing to collaborate on promoting both heritage sites.
