HCMC – The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) today, September 11, announced the appointment of Lieu Thi Phuong, general director of Charm Group, as its new representative in Vietnam.

The announcement ceremony was attended by Madan Mohan Sethi, consul general of India in HCMC, and Rajeev Singh, director general of ICC, and Debmalya Banerjee, regional director of ICC.

With the support of the Indian Consulate in Vietnam, various trade promotion and exchange programs between the ICC and Vietnamese businesses have been organized in recent years.

According to the chamber, Phuong’s contributions to these initiatives have solidified her reputation and led to her appointment as the ICC’s Vietnam representative.

The ICC, headquartered in Calcutta, India, currently has representatives in over 25 international locations spanning Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and other regions. This non-governmental trade association was founded in 1925.
