HCMC – Indonesia is set to deepen its cultural and trade relations with Vietnam through the upcoming Indonesia-Vietnam Festival Week, hosted by the Indonesian Consulate General.
The event will take place from November 22 to 24 in HCMC and neighboring Binh Duong Province.
Festival activities will be held at the Children’s House of HCMC at 169 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street, District 3, running from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on November 22 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on November 23.
On November 24, the festival moves to the Binh Duong Convention and Exhibition Center in Thu Dau Mot City, with events scheduled from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Bringing vibrant Indonesian culture to Vietnam, the festival offers attendees an immersive experience divided into four main components, including traditional dance performances with intricate choreography and colorful costumes, providing a window into Indonesia’s rich artistic heritage.
An exhibition will showcase Indonesian products from companies operating in Vietnam, highlighting the country’s craftsmanship and innovation.
For those interested in educational exchanges, an education fair will feature Indonesian universities offering insights into study programs and scholarship opportunities, providing Vietnamese students with pathways to studying in Indonesia.
Visitors can also indulge in traditional Indonesian cuisine, savoring the diverse flavors and culinary heritage of the archipelago.
Adding a glamorous touch, Miss Cosmo Indonesia and Miss Cosmo Vietnam will make a special appearance on November 22.
