Industrial park stocks continued growing robustly in the first two months of this year, emerging as one of the leading industry groups on the market. Growth drivers and challenges Despite market volatility in 2024, industrial real estate stocks performed solidly, gaining 17.7%, compared to the 12.1% increase of the VN-Index. GVR led the surge with a 44.5% rise, driven by a 38% spike in rubber prices and revenue from converting rubber plantation land into industrial park land. SZC also recorded a significant 18.8% gain, fueled by a 39% jump in profit and a record land-holding area under a memorandum of understanding (MOU). In the first two months of the first quarter this year, stocks issued by operators of industrial parks continued soaring significantly as one of the industry groups leading the market, among which BCM is the most typical with an upturn of 16%.
