In 2025, INSEE Vietnam marks an important milestone in its corporate social responsibility (CSR) journey, reaffirming its pioneering role in “building for life, sharing for growth.” Beyond being one of Vietnam’s leading cement brands, INSEE has become a trusted partner of the community through a wide range of CSR programs that bring long-term and sustainable values.

Building infrastructure, strengthening communities

At the very start of the year, INSEE delivered a warm spring to families in difficult circumstances around its plants by donating nearly 900 gift packages of daily necessities. But the company’s commitment to community well-being went much further, with a series of infrastructure projects designed to improve lives across Vietnam.

Among the most notable were road upgrades in Dong Thap and Dong Nai provinces, where rural transport routes were concretized, making travel safer and more convenient. In collaboration with Thanh Nien newspaper, INSEE also supported the construction of Kenh Coi Ba Bridge in Ca Mau Province, a project that now provides easier and safer access for thousands of local residents.

As part of the Green Summer Campaign, INSEE joined hands to build a flagpole campus on Nam Du Archipelago—an initiative of great symbolic importance, contributing to safeguarding Vietnam’s maritime sovereignty. In An Giang Province, the company donated 11 new Dai Doan Ket (Great Solidarity) houses to disadvantaged families, with nearly VND1 billion allocated to ensure more people have a secure place to call home.

Prioritizing social welfare and environmental protection

Improving social welfare is another cornerstone of INSEE’s CSR agenda. In 2025, the company sponsored almost 1,000 health insurance cards for students, while also hosting regular community initiatives such as “exchange waste for gifts” programs, which raise environmental awareness while providing tangible benefits for participants.

Environmental protection remains a defining pillar of INSEE’s mission. Continuing its pledge toward achieving net-positive biodiversity, INSEE sponsored and planted 10,000 native trees at the Phu My Species and Habitat Conservation Area in An Giang. Additionally, through its INSEE Ecocycle brand, the company partnered with customers to sponsor and plant 1,200 trees at Binh Chau–Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve. These projects not only restore green spaces but also safeguard biodiversity and strengthen resilience against climate change.

At the same time, INSEE continues to invest in greener products, pioneering efforts to reduce CO2 emissions. Its eco-friendly cement lines have earned recognition from international organizations, underscoring the company’s leadership in sustainable construction materials.

Investing in education and human development

Education is another area where INSEE is making a lasting difference. Recently, the Sunflower Library—a winning project from the INSEE Prize competition 2024—was completed and handed over to the Center for Inclusive Education in Vinh Long Province. Designed as a learning and creative space for children with disabilities and developmental disorders, the library reflects INSEE’s vision of empowering the next generation and creating equal opportunities for all.

In An Giang, INSEE has sustained its Enterprise Vocational Education (EVE) program for 24 years, helping shape a pool of skilled young professionals in the region. Nearly 270 students have benefited from the initiative, which combines theoretical training with hands-on practice. Implemented in collaboration with Kien Giang College, the program equips participants—mostly local youths aged 18 and above—with practical knowledge in mechanical engineering and electrical technology. Graduates receive official college and vocational diplomas, significantly improving their career prospects while contributing to the local workforce.

Building a sustainable future

With its brand statement “Build for Life,” INSEE Vietnam continues to translate its social responsibility commitments into concrete actions that foster sustainable communities and protect the environment. From upgrading rural infrastructure and supporting vulnerable families, to greening landscapes and nurturing human potential, INSEE’s 2025 journey reflects a holistic approach to CSR.

These efforts not only highlight the company’s dedication to giving back but also embody its belief that business growth and community development must go hand in hand. As INSEE looks to the future, its mission remains clear: to build sustainable values, spread the spirit of sharing, and help create a brighter tomorrow for generations to come.
