HCMC – The International Plastics & Rubber Technologies and Materials Exhibition for Vietnam was opened in HCMC today, March 13, offering an opportunity for Vietnamese plastics and rubber businesses to gain access to latest technologies and operational solutions for their production.
The three-day Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2024, organized by Informa Markets Vietnam and Messe Düsseldorf Asia, is taking place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in District 7.
With an exhibition area covering 3,300 sq.m, the event features over 60 exhibitors from 12 countries and territories, including the international pavilion groups of Germany, Italy, Austria, China, and Taiwan.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ben Wong, country general manager of Informa Markets Vietnam, said that the exhibition aims to enhance the economic benefits of the plastics industry while contributing to increased sustainability and finding new opportunities for growth. It also brings together leading suppliers from all over the world and Vietnamese businesses.
There are a series of seminars and workshops on topics such as a green plastic industry in a circular economy, production technology, and management of the plastic and rubber industries to promote a sustainable future.
The event is expected to attract more than 3,500 specialized visitors from various sectors of Vietnam’s plastics and rubber industry.
