HCMC – The Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles and Textile Technologies (VIATT) 2026 is scheduled for February 26–28 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Tan My Ward, HCMC.
Jointly organized by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE) and Germany’s Messe Frankfurt, the event aims to showcase the comprehensive global value chain of the textile industry.
VIATT 2026 will expand its footprint by 20% against last year’s event to 18,000 square meters.
The fair is expected to host nearly 1,000 booths featuring over 450 domestic and international exhibitors from 21 countries and territories. Major global players, including Thomas Mason by Albini 1876, Murata Machinery, Yagi & Co, Sarex Chemicals among others will showcase innovations alongside industry giants like IKEA, Muji or Novotel.
A strategic priority for this year is the promotion of circular economy and green energy. The “Econogy Hub” will feature eco-friendly materials and sustainable manufacturing processes, aligning with Vietnam’s goal of achieving a circular textile economy by 2050. Furthermore, the fair will introduce a specialized zone for textile chemicals and dyes, showcasing additives for chemical recycling and advanced fiber production.
Digital transformation remains a key theme through the “Digital and Innovative Solutions” zone. This area will highlight AI-driven design simulations and modern automation systems to enhance supply chain efficiency. Notably, the AI in Design Laboratory (AiDLab) will return to showcase WiseEye, an advanced technology for automated fabric defect detection and classification.
To meet evolving market trends, VIATT 2026 is expanding into finished garments and fashion accessories. A new dedicated fashion brand area aims to attract major global buyers such as Tory Burch and Zara.
The event will also feature forums, including discussions on “Trade Uncertainty in 2026” and a seminar on Vietnam’s textile development strategy, focusing on ESG compliance and international standards. With over 19,000 visitors recorded in 2025, VIATT 2026 continues to solidify Vietnam’s position as a leading global textile exporter.
